Never attempt to trim a burning candle\u003cbr\u003e\n2. Place the wick trimmer's long handle inside of the jar or tin and bring the scissor blades around the wick. Keeping the blades parallel to the wax, trim the wick to about 1\/4”.\u003cbr\u003e\n3. Discard the excess wick into the trash.
