Opes and Dreams - Cause Candle - 8oz glass jar
This Yeti smells like how our team felt when we walked through the garden at the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Wisconsin. This candle is meant to smell like a breath of fresh air. Refreshing citrus top notes to brighten your mood and soothing heart and base notes of white tea and sandalwood bring this blend together like a warm hug on a sunny day.
Being in nature is healing. Being with your family and folks you love is healing. Making this candle is really special for us and we want to make sure it smells like supporting families when children need healthcare. It's about navigating through both the opes and the dreams.
Scent Profile:

We've been crafting our Cause Candle collection sinch March 2020.
10% of each of these candles sold will go directly to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin. RMHC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that exists to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare.
In the early 1980s, a parent support group, McDonald’s Owner/Operators and a small team of dedicated volunteers set out to build a Ronald McDonald House® in Milwaukee. Previously, families had no place to stay while their seriously ill or injured children were being treated at Children’s Wisconsin and other area hospitals. The outpouring of support to build this House was remarkable, so much so that when it opened in 1984, they called it “The House that Love Built®.”
Due to generous community of support, what started out as a 25-room House now boasts 84 private guest rooms, nine kitchens and common spaces for families to gather and play. They offer families from all 50 states and many countries around the world these amenities at little to no cost. A team of over 425 volunteers and a dedicated staff are always ready to do whatever it takes to make a family’s stay a little easier.
~~~~~
Since the start of Big White Yeti's Cause Candles in March 2020, we've donated over $18,000 to local (Milwaukee or Midwest) nonprofits that align with our personal and business ethics. We've supported Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, Make-a-Wish Wisconsin, The Ronald McDonald House, Meals on Wheels, Autumn Farm Sanctuary, Next Door Milwaukee Foundation, Tiny Hooves Animal Sanctuary, Planned Parenthood, and Midwest Access Coalition. The vetting criteria for the organizations we support comes down to these things- they need to support families, children, or animals in our community. They are organizations we would (or do) support in our personal lives.
In 2025, we donated $595.48 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin.
CANDLE CARE
Let's talk about basic candle care.
1. Trim your wick - Before every lighting, trim the wick of your candle to about 1/4'' for a clean beautiful burn. You can use a fancy wick trimmer, a pair of scissors, or even just your fingers (which is what we do 99% of the time).
2. Let it burn- Allow the wax of your candle to melt to the edge of the container every time to ensure a complete and even burn. This prevents tunneling.
3. Never let a burning candle out of your sight. And don't burn it for more then 4 hours at a time.
4. Let it go- when only 1/4'' of wax remains in the jar, blow it out and clean it out with hot soapy water. Recycle it or repurpose the jar or tin.
