Yeah. It's totally inspired by real life events. I mean, have you been apple picking at an orchard? Even if you don't have kids, you understand.
Even the best laid plans to take a wagon, and snacks, and sunscreen, and bug spray, hats, and a blankie can't always stave off the tantrum. But you know what helps? Bourbon. Mostly kidding. We all muddle through because these are the moments that get remembered. And distance makes the heart grow fonder- these moments end up being looked back upon sweetly and with tinges of sentiment and nostalgia.
We love making apple candles (see Cardigan Climate and A Delicious Apple), and we love maple syrup and a good bourbon. So this was a delightful Yeti to blend. It's a strong blend of apples, cinnamon, bourbon, butter, sweet maple and vanilla. It's heady and bold- perfect for a kitchen, living room, or entryway.

This candle is hand poured and contains simple ingredients- pure soy wax, a cotton wick, and phthalate-free fragrance and essential oils.
Soy burns remarkably clean and long- expect the 6oz tin to burn for 25 – 30 hours and the 8oz glass jar to burn for 40-45 hours. And when it’s gone, simply clean out the tin or jar with hot soapy water and repurpose it around your home.

CANDLE CARE
Let's talk about basic candle care.
1. Trim your wick - Before every lighting, trim the wick of your candle to about 1/4'' for a clean beautiful burn. You can use a fancy wick trimmer, a pair of scissors, or even just your fingers (which is what we do 99% of the time).
2. Let it burn- Allow the wax of your candle to melt to the edge of the container every time to ensure a complete and even burn. This prevents tunneling.
3. Never let a burning candle out of your sight. And don't burn it for more then 4 hours at a time.
4. Let it go- when only 1/4'' of wax remains in the jar, blow it out and clean it out with hot soapy water. Recycle it or repurpose the jar or tin.
